Jerry Lawler: He is known for being a perverted color commentary on
WWE Raw. However, Jerry Lawler was a huge star in the 1980's in Memphis. He was
and is a local celebrity. He had a famous feud with Andy Kaufman in 1982. On
"late night with David Letterman", he Slapped Andy Kaufman. The feud was
documented in the movie "Man on the Moon" starring Jim Carrey. Jerry Lawler was
inducted in the WWE hall of fame at Wrestlemania 23.
John Morrison:
John made his debut in 2005 Johnny Nitro with MNM. He trained in Ohio Valley
promotion (WWE developmental promotion). At the beginning of his WWE tenure, he
was managed by Melina. John has won the WWE Tag Team Championship and
Intercontinental Championship. In the 2007 Draft, he was drafted to ECW. He
quickly established himself as the headliner of the brand by beating CM Punk to
become the ECW World Champion. On September 2, 2007, John lost the ECW title to
CM Punk.
Santino Marella: Santino made his WWE debut on April 16, 2007. He was
trained in Ohio Valley Wrestling promotion. On his first night with the WWE, He
was selected out of the crowd by Vince McMahon to wrestle Umaga for the IC
title. In his debut match, he defeated Umaga to win the title.
The Great Khali: He debut in April 2006. he is the biggest WWE
Star. In the summer of 2006, he feuded with the Undertaker. In August 2007, The
Great Khali won a 20 man battle royal to win the World title.
The Miz:
The Miz is known from his days on MTV's The Real World or The Inferno. He tried
out for the WWE during the season four Tough Enough competitions. He did not win
the contest. However, the Miz decided to dedicate himself to wrestling full
time. WWE was impressed by his dedication. They decided to sign him in 2006.
After a successful run as a tag team with John Morrison, he moved to Monday
Night Raw.
William Regal: William Regal made his WWE debut in 1998. He made his United
States debut in the mid 1990 with WCW. There, He won the US title and multiple
tag team titles. In his WWE career, he has won multiple titles. In 2007, he was
the commissioner for Raw for a short period of time.
