Mark Henry is nicknamed the World Strongest Man" and for good reason. Before he enter into professional wrestling. Mark was a professional weightlifter. He competed at the 1992 and 1996 Olympic games. Although, he did not medal at the games. The media focused on him. In a recent Flex Magazine, Mark Henry was named the second strongest man ever.

After the 1996 Olympics, he signed a ten year contract with the WWE. Mark Henry began his wrestling career as a singles wrestler. Later, He joined The Rock and Ron Simmons to form the Nation of Domination. The  Mark Henry has been on and off of WWE television throughout the last 11 years. At the 1996 Saturday Night Main Event, Mark Henry suffered a knee injury. The injury placed him on the inactive WWE roster for a year. He would reemerge in 2008 on the ECW brand, where he would win and hold the ECW Title for several months.
