    King Booker has had a long career in professional wrestling. He made his national debut in WCW. Along with his brother Stevie Ray, they were known as Harlem Heat. They would win numerous tag team titles in WCW. Booker decided to go solo, when Stevie Ray was injured. Booker won the United States title in his first single match. Near the end of WCW, Booker would win the WCW world title five times.

 

    King Booker made his WWE in 2001. He won numerous titles in the WWE. In 2006, Sharmell (his real wife) became his on air manager. At the King of the Ring, He won the summer tournament and declared him King Booker. Recently, he opened his own wrestling school in Houston, Texas.

 

In October 2007, Booker left the WWE. He felt that changes in the WWE's wellness policy was unfair. Booker signed with TNA in November. He made his debut in the main event at TNA Genesis 2007.

 

After his contract expired with TNA, he left the company to pursue a career in acting. In early 2011, he returned to the WWE. Booker T is currently a color commentary on Smackdown.
