Kevin Nash has been a headliner for over two decade. He made his national
debut in the early 90's with WCW. Kevin's career started out rough with several
bad gimmicks. However, it wasn't until he left WCW that his career started to sky
rocket.
In 1993, Kevin signed with WWE. He became Shawn Michael’s bodyguard
and was called "Diesel". Kevin Nash teamed with Shawn for several years. In
1995, they broke up the duo. In November 1995, he would beat Bob Backland to win his first world
title at Madison Square Garden. He would win his second title by beating Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania 11,
which would be his highest profiled match at the time. However, he would loss the
title to Bret Hart later that year. Kevin Nash's contract expired in the summer of 1996. WCW pursued Nash
and his friend Scott Hall. Kevein decided to sign with WCW and change wrestling forever.
Kevin Nash and Scott Hall would come into WCW as the Outsiders. The angle
was that they were still with the WWE and were trying to takeover WCW. The angle
immedialty become a hit. They became the top heels in the
promotion. The angle led to the company’s hottest feuds. At WCW Bash at the Beach 1996.
the Outsiders promised a mystery partner, which
would turn out to be Hulk Hogan. They would form a faction and would call
themselves the New World Order (NWO). Kevin
remained with WCW until its demise in 2000.
Kevin would resign with WWE in 2002 and reform the NWO. Kevin wrestled with
WWE for a year and a half. Afterwards, He would take some time away from
wrestling, where he decided to try his hand at acting. He played in several
movies, which included The Punisher and The Longest Yard.
Kevin Nash signed and worked for TNA from 2005 to 2010. Kevin Nash returned
to the WWE at the 2011 Royal Rumble. He is currently under a WWE Legends
contract.
