Kevin Nash has been a headliner for over two decade. He made his national
debut in the early 90's with WCW. Kevin was given several gimmicks. However, the
gimmicks did not work and he was released from his contract.
In 1993, Kevin signed with WWE. He became Shawn Michael’s bodyguard. The
WWE called him "Diesel". Kevin Nash teamed with Shawn for several years. In
1995, they broke up the duo. He would beat Bob Backland for win his first world
title at Madison Square Garden. Kevin beat Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania 11,
which was his highest profiled match at the time. However, he would loss the
title to Bret Hart later that year. At Wrestlemania 12, he lost to the
Undertaker. Kevin Nash contract expired in the summer of 1996. WCW pursued Nash
and his pal Scott Hall. They would sign with WCW and change wrestling forever.
Kevin Nash and Scott Hall would come into WCW as the Outsiders. The angle
was that they were still with WWE and were trying to takeover WCW. Instantly,
they become the top heels (bad guys) in the promotion. The angle would lead to
the company’s hottest feuds, which featured a WCW team versus the outsiders at
WCW Bash at the Beach 1996. The Outsiders promised a mystery partner, which
would turn out to be Hulk Hogan. They would form a faction and would call
themselves the NWO. Kevin Nash became a huge wresting star. He would be the
first person to beat Bill Goldberg and end his undefeated streak. Kevin would
remain with WCW until its demise.
Kevin would resign with WWE in 2002 and reform the NWO. Kevin wrestled with
WWE for a year and a half. Afterward, He would take some time away from
wrestling. He decided to try his hand at acting. He has played in several
movies, which include the Punisher and The Longest Yard.
