The "Fallen Angel" Christopher
Daniels is one of the best technical wrestlers in the world.. Before entering
TNA, Christopher was the top wrestler on the US independent scene. He was
considered too small for the WWE. However, Christopher did not deter from his
goal of making it onto the national scene.
In 2002, He joined TNA in their debut show. Christopher brought his technical wrestling skills to the
growing promotion. He has held the X division title 3 times. In 2004, He teamed
with Elix Skipper and Senshi to form Triple X. They held the tag team titles on
numerous occasions. In December 2004, They faced American Most Wanted in a loser
must disband match. Triple X lost the match and had disband their team.
Christopher went back to the X division and won the title. He held the title for
6 months, which was the longest reign in the companies short history. In 2005, He would
feud with Samoa Joe and A.J. Styles. They had several classic matches during their
feud. He would end up losing his title to Samoa Joe.
In 2006, he would go
back to the tag team division. Christopher would team with A.J Styles. Together,
they
would go on to win the tag team titles and had a memorable feud with LAX.
Eventually, the feud ended
at TNA's Bound for Glory in the a steel cage match. They lost the match and the
titles. After the match, Christopher and A.J. Style went their separate ways.
In 2007, Daniels would feud with
Sting. This was Christopher highest profiled feud, which concluded at TNA
Slammiversary pay per view. Although, Christopher lost the match. The feud gave
him instant credibility with the fan across the world.
