John Cena is the biggest star in professional wrestling. He is known for rapping and his huge following of fans, which he calls the chain gang. John Cena grew up a huge wrestling fan. Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior was his favorite. When he was a teenager, he found a love for football. John Cena was a excellent football player. After applying to 60 different colleges and was accepted to 58. He signed on to go to Massachusetts' Springfield College. During college, he played as an offensive lineman and was the team’s captain. John Cena graduated with bachelors in exercise physiology.

            After his college career, John Cena went into bodybuilding. He ran into a wrestler at a local gym and began talking. The wrestler convinced him to go train at his wrestling school. John quickly excelled at the school. A year later, John signed a developmental contract with the WWE. He moved to Ohio Valley (WWE developmental promotion) and in 2002 was called up to Smackdown. Within one year, He headlines his first pay per view. 

John Cena has become the centerpiece of WWE Raw. He has feuded with everyone in the WWE. He headlined Wrestlemania 22 against Triple H. He had a yearlong feud with Edge. John has become the biggest star in the WWE since Steve Austin. In 2007, he became the longest reigning WWE champion since Randy Savage in the 80's. John Cena is today's biggest star and will be for years to come.

Outside the ring, Cena has had success in acting. He starred in The Marine. The movie did badly in the theaters. However, the DVD was number one for several weeks after its release.
