Bam Bam Bigelow

 

 

 

 

Bigelow passed away on January 19, 2007. He was 45 years old. He may be best remembered for  head being tattooed with flames.  Bigelow is highly regarded as one of the best big men the wrestling world has ever seen.

 Even before he entered the ring, Bam Bam was a star. In his first match, Bam Bam wrestled at Studio 54. Bigelow received huge press because of his look. In the mid 1980's, he wrestled with Hulk Hogan in the WWF. In 1987, he signed with New Japan Pro wrestling. In his Japan career, he pinned both Tatsumi Fujinami and Akira Maeda. Bigelow made his name in Japan. In the highlight of Bigelow career, He wrestled Lawrence Taylor at Wrestlemania 11. He was credited for getting a decent match with a inexperienced LT. Bigelow was always willing to make his opponent look good.

Later in his career, he joined the ECW promotion. Bigelow would participate in one of ECW most  legendary spots, which is  when Bam Bam picked up Spike Dudley and threw him into the crowd. Later, Bam Bam would beat Taz to win the ECW TV title in his hometown of Asbury Park. Bam Bam Bigelow would end his career in WCW. Bigelow will be remembered for being agile and having a unique look.
