Kharma formerly Awesome Kong is the monster heel of the TNA women's
division. Awesome Kong brings a hard hitting style from Japan. She has
wrestled all over the world and made her TNA debut in October 2007.
Kharma trained in Japan and wrestled for All Japan Women's Pro
Wrestling (AJW). She made her wrestling debut in October 2002. In 2004, she
teamed with Japanese legend Aja Kong. Together, they would hold several tag team
titles in Japan.
She arrived to the American wrestling scene in 2007. On the independent
scene, she would hold the AWA and NWA titles. After making a name for herself on
the independent scene, TNA noticed her. They offered her a contract and she
decided to sign her.
Kharma made her debut by defeated Gail Kim in October of 2007. Awesome
Kong and Gail Kim would start a feud that put TNAs Knockouts division on the
map. On several pay per views, Kong and Kim would steal the show and some
excellent matches. On January 10th 2008, Kharma would pin Gail Kim
to win her first TNA Knockouts title. Along with her manager Raisha Saeed, they
would become the top heels in the promotion. In the future, Awesome Kong
is sure to take women's wrestling to another level.
After a backstage dispute wit Bubba the love Sponge, Kharma asked and
received her release from TNA. Kharma signed with the WWE in 2011.
