A.J. Styles is one of the most
athletic high flyers in the business. He is nicknamed "The Phenomenal" for
that reason. Before TNA, A.J. wrestled for WCW for a short time during their
final year of existence. He would go on to wrestle for
Ring of Honor. He has been part of TNA
since their inception.
In the early years of TNA,
he feuded with
X
division wrestlers. Later, he would feud with almost everyone on TNA's rosters. A.J was
TNA first triple crown champion by winning all three of TNA's titles. He beat
Jeff Jarrett on 6/11/03 to win his first World Title. A.J. has held the
World title on three occasions. In addition, he has held the X division title
six times.
In 2005, A.J. Styles had
several
classic matches with Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels. In these matches, A.J.
was able to show the world that he had finally arrived to the big stage. A.J.
styles continues to be a major player in TNA.
