A.J. Styles is one of the most athletic high flyers in pro wrestling. He is nicknamed "The Phenomenal" for that reason. A.J has brought many new moves to wrestling, which no one had ever seen before. Before TNA, A.J. wrestled in WCW for a short time in their last year and Ring of Honor. He has been part of TNA for their whole existence.

 In the early years of TNA, He feuded with many X division wrestlers. He has gone onto feud with almost everyone on their rosters. A.J was TNA first triple crown champion by winning all three of TNA's titles. He beat Jeff Jarrett on 6/11/03 to win his first world title. A.J. Styles has held the World title on three occasions. He has held the X division title for 6 times.

 In 2005, A.J. Styles had several classic matches with Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels. In these matches, A.J. was able to show the world that he had finally arrived in professional wrestling.
