Since the inception of TNA, Abyss has been a major player in the company. He is TNA darkest character. He is known for wearing black and until recently never spoke a word. Abyss has wrestled in some of the companies the most grueling matches. In December 2005, he wrestled Sabu in a barb-wired match. It was extremely bloody and brutal. In his matches, he likes to use include thumbtacks, which usually backfires on him.
