In 2002, Jeff and Jerry Jarrett from TNA. They decided to create the promotion because WWE was the only national wrestling promotion. They felt that wrestling fans needed an alternative. Since their inception, they have gone from weekly pay per views to having their own weekly two hour show on Spike TV.
